Professional Standards

PUHSD staff and faculty are committed to a professional code of conduct that is articulated in two documents: Board Policy & Exhibit. And in alignment with the code of conduct, Placer Union is committed as an equal opportunity organization.

School Board

Placer Union's Board of Trustees hold public meetings throughout the school year, including periodic joint meetings with local pre-K-8 districts and Sierra Community College. View their agendas online or visit their webpage for meeting dates and profiles on these five dedicated public servants.

Foresthill High School

Our vision is to be a place that students, parents, and the community are proud of and excited about. We want to meet the needs of every student, one student at a time. We will do so by providing a comprehensive program that rivals any in the region, including an academic program that ensures career and college ready students; consistently high-achieving and varied athletic programs; distinctive performing arts opportunities; and access to diverse curriculum through the use of technology and distance learning.

The Placer Union High School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Districts/schools are prohibited from engaging in any employment practice that discriminates against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of sex, disability, race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, ethnic group identification, ancestry, religion, or mental or physical disability. Specific issues include employment policies, recruitment and selection matters, salary establishment and administration, reasonable accommodation, and overcoming the effects of past discrimination.
